Slaughterhouse Aleppo

The butcher from Damascus, Assad, and his master, Stalin’s ghost, Putin, are putting
the boot into Aleppo big time.War crimes on prime time tv. Intentional and malicious
bombing of hospitals, civilians, women and children etc for everybody to see.How
brazen can you be ?
And the Syrian ambassador, when asked about this at the UN, laughing it off.
A bad nightmare? No, bloody reality!
What kind of man can instigate all this ? only a monster in human disguise.

Mind you,Putin and Assad are not the only war criminals, there are others as well.
Erdogan,Hezbollah, the Iranian militias and Saudi supported IS etc are not far of the
mark. However, without Putin Assad would be gone , the conflict would be a lot smaller
and only regional not international and no “refugees-economical migrants”would be
flooding and destabilizing western Europe.

So why isn’t anybody doing something about this ??? They are tiptoeing around Putin
who is trying hard to start WW III.And the UN is about the most useless paper tiger
you have ever seen, to say it mildly. With the biggest bullies on earth, China and
Russia being permanent members of it, what do you expect ?

It all boils down to a way of thinking, namely greed for power. This is like a mental
disease or virus that is very contagious, just look at the UN.A lot of its members
are infected by it. And greed for power is always destructive.

So is there a way around this ? Imagine you would be able to change the thinking of
Putin, Assad and the likes just a little bit.

There are people who are , to some degree, able to do this. They are called psychics
and some of them have amazing mental powers. The problem is to convince them to get
involved. A virtual tour of Aleppo might do the job.
If you know any of them, ask them to get involved and put their money where their
mouth is.

If you can convince some of them to get involved it could just make a difference.

The worsening conflict in Syria

The worsening conflict in Syria

About 2 weeks ago Putin got serious in Syria with the beginning of direct and large-scale military intervention.

Another huge step closer to the abyss.

So let’s just have a look at the main players in this conflict and their real goals and motivations.

Russia:
Putin wants to prop up Assad to keep a strong foothold in the middle east and harbor facilities in the Mediterranean.
They are also backers of Iran and their very recent deployment of sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles is a game changer, because it will cost the Israelis their airspace superiority over Syria, which was a big factor in interrupting Hezbollah’s supply lines from Iran through Syria into Lebanon.
Furthermore the creation of more refugees through russian bombing campaigns puts more pressure on western Europe.! Overnight Putin rose from pariah to player at the chessboard of international politics. He is right about one thing :the west has become weak from his contorted and megalomania perspective !

He actually likes the IS because they gave him a chance to become a player and once they are gone, everybody will turn on him because he is one of the biggest obstacles to relative peace in the area.
So don`t expect any real help from him to fight the IS, vice versa. They are basically helping his own cause.by giving him the excuse to interfere militarily, even so it is mainly to his own advantage.

Assad :
His real goal is straight forward :to keep a strangle hold on power,no matter what. The butcher of Damascus will not go voluntarily and now with russian backing looks firmly entrenched. After Putin, he ist he second largest problem in that area.

Assad opposition parties :
Their goal is to rid Syria of a blood thirsty tyrant, Assad and the Pest of IS. Again, with Putin’s large-scale military engagement, their fortunes have turned for the worse.

Erdoban :
definitely got his own agenda : doesn`t like Assad, but neither the Kurds.Did favour the IS, but after a deal with Obama got a green light to bomb the PKK and now after the downing of a russian fighter jet the russians are bombing the rest of the Kurds for him.Smart move ! basically wants to regain Atta Turks bygone glory. He really is more part of the problem than the solution.

The Kurds :
They are probably a large part of any longterm solution to the problem,
because they are ‘local’ troops and not foreigners.Apart from that they have enough people and economic muscle (oil and gas ) to form their own stable country in the long run and with that stabilize a large area.
They are also tolerant enough to accommodate other ethnic groups. So they should get a lot of support from anybody who really wants to put an end to this quagmire.

Iranian militias and Hezbollah :
They are on Assad side because he guarantees Hezbollah their supply line and they don`t like Sunnis who make up the IS.However, even so they are fighting the IS , in the long run they are more of a problem than part of the
solution.

The IS :
This is the third largest problem. nr 1 : Putin, nr 2 :Assad,nr 3 :the IS. !!!!
Trouble is , they obviously have support from other countries like Saudi Arabia which is Sunny and doesn`t get on with Iran to well.Their recent and intended attacks on the West make their demise a top priority. Cutting off their revenue flow any which way possible is certainly a very important step in the right direction as well as the bombing campaign.
However, without ground troops there will be no permanent success. And as we have seen,Putin, Assad and Erdoban have their own agenda and the removal of the IS is not necessarily in their interest. So don`t expect any real help from there, it`s a lot of smoke and mirrors !!!

Enter the Western Coalition :
They are united in their goal to get rid of the IS, however as we have seen they will really have to navigate around Putin, Assad and to some extend Erduan to achieve this.So the best bet right now is a massive support for the Kurds (peschmergers ),recruiting of young soldiers from the refugee camps (maybe 500 000 should do the job), while hitting supply lines of the IS as well as freezing assets, accounts etc .If need be, Erduan will have to be side lined one way or another to facilitate this and to have a base camp for military ground forces. No western ground forces should be in Syria, they will be viewed as occupying armies.(just look at Afghanistan etc)

The crunch time will come, when those peschmerger armies will eventually face off with Assad army and russian ground troops. If the Kurds have convincingly military strength, only then will Putin and his lackey, Assad, be willing to negotiate.

Negotiating with them now from a position of weakness is counter productive, it will only prolong the war and the suffering.

One final solution for Syria could be,the russians keep all the ports, the north will go to the Kurds and the rest will be given to the respective ethnic groups like sunnies etc. There is certainly no place for Assad above the ground, since he is the root cause of all this.

We basically have 3 mayor front lines in Syria right now :

nr 1 Putin and Assad fighting everybody who opposes Assad`s regime and grip on power, and the IS are not high on their list, vice versa.

nr 2 The Western coalition is fighting the IS while cautiously backing some of Assad opponents, including the Kurds.

nr3 Putin, Assad and Erdoban fighting the Kurds.

As you can see, there are already overlapping interests.

If Putin or Assad were to be taken out of he equation, it would be a game changer.Since this is not likely to happen, the next best bet is to achieve a position of strength from which to negotiate. Since the West doesn`t want to confront Putin militarily, the only option is to put together a `local` army that can do this job with a little help.Enter the Peschmerger
they have proven themselves already.(some body like the Iraqis have proven over and over again that they can`t fight their way out of a wet paper bag and all the equipment you give them you might as well hand straight to the IS.)

And we don`t have much time either.
The very recent deployment of russian S 400 anti aircraft missiles basically gives Hezbollah a green light to have a go at Israel with long-range missiles. And that would probably mean WWW III

So its time to stop rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic and get some decisive action happening. And making deals with and appeasing and accommodating bullies like Assad and Putin is definitely the wrong way to go !!!

I hope this will get some people thinking
have a nice day

The World Wide Refugee and Migrant Crisis and a possible solution for it

Worldwide there are approximately 60 million people on the move today, for economical or political reasons. All of them are from basically 3rd world countries and they are all trying to reach 1st world countries in the west. The sheer numbers are simply too much to handle in the West, let alone the integration and assimilation of them on this scale.

There are 2 main areas of origin of this problem : the Middle East and Africa.

So let’s have a closer look at them and see if there are any obvious solutions to the problem.

The Syrian conflict ist he mayor source oft he Middle Eastern refugees/migrants;if the war would be finished, all the Syrians, Iraqis etc could go home instead of going to a to them alien country with alien cultures (non muslim cultures ).

The main problem there ist he Assad regime and the IS; both will have to go. To much blood has been spilt for any of those two to remain in the future and no lasting peace will be achieved while they exist.
This feat cannot achieved by airstrikes alone,it will take highly motivated and reasonably equipped ground troops to achieve this and the only `local ` troops to be capable of this are the Kurds.

The Iraqi armi has proved over and over again that they cannot fight their way out of a wet paper bag and after 12 years of western training and pampering they are basically useless. Any weapons you give them you might as well give directly to the IS.
Bringing in the Iranians Shiite militias is not a good idea,it sows the seeds for future conflicts since they don`t get on with the Sunnis and vice versa.
Iraq as we know it is basically finished as a country and so is Syria.Southern Iraq is Shiite and with that at least leaning towards Iran ; the middle is sunny and partially leaning towards the IS because they are at least ignored by Bagdad and are not supported and armed against the IS by the current Iraqi government.
The north is kurdish anyway as is the north of Syria and the eastern part of Turkey. They have the wish and the economical as well as military muscle to get rid of the IS and then form their own country comprising northern Syria , northern Iraq and eastern Turkey.

Erduan in Turkey knows this , but wants to establish his own dictatorship in Turkey so it looks like he made a pretty dirty deal with Obama :
America can use their air bases in Turkey for attacks on IS and probably get more missile silos against the Soviets in eastern Turkey, and in return Turkey got a green light to bomb Kurdish ( PKK ) positions in Iraq and establish a `bufferzone` along the Turkish Syria border which is a kurdish area.
By bombing the Kurdish positions in Iraq Erduan destabilized Turkey enough to call new elections ,which is what he wanted since he lost his total majority in the last one.
By creating a ` buffer zone` along the Syrian border in kurdish areas one gets the suspicion he might want to re-establish Ata Turks bygone empire. He certainly does not hide his animosity towards the Assad-regime and has favoured IS in the past, so it would have taken a pretty good bribe to make him change tack.

There is another angle to this : Russia supports the Assad regime militarily as well as Iran. That turns this into a smoldering superpower confrontation. This is probably why the West didn`t declare a `no fly zone `over Syria which would have helped the Syrian people considerably by preventing Assads barrel bombs and air strikes which are a major reason for the refugee problem.

So what had Obama on his mind ??? get Turkish ground troops to route the IS and take over the remnants of Syria eventually ?

This major shift in politics just prolonged this war by at least 10 years, since the Kurds will wind up with their own country one way or another because neither Iraq nor Syria will get back on their feet in their past ways.

By the way,a few days after this change of policy was announced, an Australian man who was stopped several months ago from leaving Australia to fight with the Kurds, was charged under the terrorist act.

Unless we, the West, want to again to commit large contingents of ground troops to the middle east, we better change tack.

In the end the middle east will have to find their own equilibrium and the best bet to bring this about in maybe 1 or 2 years are the kurdish troops with a little help from the West
Anything else will prolong and deepen the conflict considerably and with that the overwhelming migrant/refugee problem from tha area.

The solution is not to accommodate more refugees,it is to get rid of the cause of the problem as soon as possible !!!

In the meantime the Syrian refugees could be accommodated in Albania and Kosovo, dirt poor but Moslem countries. The EU would probably be willing to pump enough money into those places to facilitate this program, a lot cheaper and better than to bring all those people to non-Moslem countries. No assimilation problems here.
Since Russia is one of the main problems in this conflict, they should really take the bulk oft he refugees as well.

Now to Africa :

This is a lot easier, because to the reasons here are mainly economical. Yes, there are some conflicts in some countries , but they are regional ,i e people can move within their own country out of harms way.
Most African countries are pretty rich, plenty of resources : oil , diamonds, minerals, metals etc. The biggest problems here are corruption greed and cronyism and all of these are home-made. Most oft he wealth does not get past the top 5 or 10 % oft he population. So some mental developement aid would go a long way, however the real change has to come from within the governments and people living there.

By resettling large numbers of those people else where, you just spread the problem because they bring their mentality with them. Very few oft hem have qualifications that are acceptable in a western country, so why bring them here??? lots oft hem have no chance and will turn to crime, drugs, prostitution and poverty.
It will be a lot cheaper and easier to pick one african country that has some potential and send them all there and then train them up to a reasonable standard with aid money; the emphasis being on mental developement and skills that enable them to have a reasonable existence.

African governments who don`t look after their citizens should not receive any aid what so ever .Real bad boys like Mugabe who turned Zimbabwe from the african bread basket into a basket case should be treated like a Lepper and boycotted left right and center until he gets out of government.

Again, real change can only happen from within, but in the meantime there is no reason to spread the problem else where.
ist a lot cheaper financially and socially to treat this problem within Africa then outside of it.

Most of the man-made problems boil down to the same old root cause : a way of thinking, namely greed for power and money.

And this way of thinking is responsible for the current conflicts and the mass migration the world over. And unless we tackle this way of thinking, nothing will change.

Without greed for power by somebody, there are no armed conflicts, but some power sharing etc. However ,this doesn`t mean to give in to bullies, vice versa. You deal with them appropriately by reducing interaction with them as far as possible , i e political and economic sanctions and isolation and in extreme cases military force to remove them.( if Russia stops supporting the butcher of Damascus, Assad,he will fall within a short time . If the IS were not supported by somebody, they would fade away).

Without greed for money by somebody, most Africans would have a chance to achieve a reasonable existence and life style.

The good news is, greed is only learned behaviour.A very young chid cannot distinguish between itself and its environment. if you cannot do this , you cannot be greedy. So there is hope.
The main tool to achieve this change of thinking is education

step one : first of all declare greed for what it is : the largest and most widespread and destructive mental disease on earth today and the
root cause of most man-made destruction.( this will step on a lot of toes !! )

step two : replace greed with mindfull thinking, i e some consideration for others and our life support system and with that sustainability.

You see, human society runs well on good will ,however where ever that is displaced by greed, things get really nasty.

The ones who can achieve this change of thinking will become part of the future, the others will suffer the fate ot the dinosaurs:
because they were unable to adapt to changed circumstances they became extinct.

I hope this gets you thinking,

have a nice day

Report Card Earth :

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT :

An abundance of life, animals and plants alike.magnificent lifeforms in all areas of the earth, a diversity rarely found on other planets. There are other earths out there, but the abundance we find here is few and far between. However, there is a serious threat to all this.

THE SPECIES :

An abundance of species in magnificent diversities everywhere you look. Most of them fit in well within the interwoven fabric of lifeforms and environment except for one : Humans!

So what is the problem with humans and why ?

To understand this, lets first have a look at the human evolution until today.
If the earth is one day old,the Dinosaurs died out about 15 min ago and humans have only been around for 1.5 minutes or so and all of human history happened within the last second or so.That alone explains a lot.

The first large evolutionary step was from hunter gatherer to farmer. That involved a huge change in thinking from adapting to your environment to adapting your environment to you.It also involved forward thinking and planning to a previously unheard of extent.
Climate change was at least one of the reasons for this. People don’t change their habits for no reason and changes in the environment always lead to changes in human behaviour. We are strongly interactive with our environment, if we like it or not, for the good or bad.More on this later.
After farming came skill specialisation which produced manufacturers and traders and lead to the formation of cities and long distance trade.
However, all this time the social structure did not change that much, the 3 generation family and the tribe or clan supplied all the safety net that was required. If somebody got sick or incapacitated the family was there to help.

All this changed in the western world with the industrial revolution. It broke up the social structure, the natural safety net of the 3 generation family and also lead to WWI which got rid of the feudal power structure in a lot of places,to be replaced with a proletarian power structure (Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini etc)which consequently got washed away in most western countries by WWII.
And since the sixties it has produced a consumer society in most western countries with previously unheard of personal opportunities, wealth and freedoms. And it lead to a big change in thinking, from feudal or dictatorial to relatively democratical in most western countries. It was a big step in human evolution.
The price for this was the blood sweat tears and lives of maybe 150 million people worldwide.
Many 2nd and 3rd world countries are embarking on the same journey today, however
they don’t seem to learn from the pitfalls and mistakes the Europeans made. He who doesn’t learn from history will have to repeat it !!!

CIVILISATION AND TECHNOLOGY ARE NOT RELATED! THE DEGREE OF CIVILISATION IS DETERMINED BY OUR TREATMENT OF OUR FELLOW CITIZENS.THE BASIC RIGHT TO EXIST,FREE PRESS, A BILL OF RIGHTS AND FREE AND UNLIMITED AND UNCENSORED ACCESS TO INFORMATION, FREEDOM OF SPEECH AS WELL AS A LEGAL SYSTEM THAT DESERVES THAT NAME ARE ONLY SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A CIVILISED COUNTRY.

and there is a lot of room for improvement in a lot of countries!!

So now let’s get to some global issues and trouble spots on earth and look at the reasons for this as well as the solution and/or the outcome.

Climate change :
About 600 million years ago the whole earth was a frozen ice ball with a bit of slime living in some places. Volcanoes transformed it into the earth as we know it today.
Nature is dynamic, the only constant is change.Static is a human invention.Ice ages came and went and not because caveman put a log to many on the fire.
However, since about 50 years the side effects of the industrialisation are showing up in our environment to some extent.
Our atmosphere consists of 78% nitrogen,20% oxygen and 2% various gases including CO2. Anything green that photosynthesis needs CO2. Oxygen is actually a byproduct of photosynthesis. Yes, originally there was no Oxygen in the atmosphere, it was created by algae and later plants on the land.So by having only 2% CO2 left, its amazing there are any pl;ants left on the planet.
However, burning fossil fuels and industrial pollution is a major problem. (there are no clear skies over Chinese cities) Air pollution traps and diffuses light which leads to temperature changes and with that can lead to changes in rainfall patterns etc. Pollution of watercourses and the oceans have an impact on the environment. All these are factors in climate change.
The trouble is even if we stop polluting now,the climate will keep changing for natural and manmade reasons.
The other problem is the biggest polluters on the planet are China,India and the ex soviet-block, neither of whom is likely to change their ways in the near future for political and economic reasons.(there is no complaints committee in those places )
Climate change and the resulting change in rainfall patterns can be and is a factor for armed conflicts so we should deal with as far as we can. But its important to dig down to find the real reason for the manmade part of climate change : greed in one way or another. More on that under solutions and outcome.

Now let’s go to the current big trouble spots and let’s have a good look at them.

THE UKRAINE CRISIS:
The bottom line here is that Putin wants to resurrect the former Soviet-Empire.Most of the Russians in the Ukraine were put there by Stalin or his successors. Its like the Sudetenland in Tschechoslowakia, there was a lot of Germans living there so Hitler annexed it.Nobody stopped him so it snowballed into WWII.
Putin is doing the same thing. The West trying to put pressure on Putin by pushing down the oil price and sanctions. However Putin doesn’t care about his own people, only his own ambitions. The undercurrent here is one of a superpower confrontation, a dangerous game.Putin wants war but the Europeans learned from history and are using sanctions. The best solution would be if the Russians would get rid of Putin themselves and so pave the way to rejoin some of the Wests prosperity through trade. The real reason for this conflict is greed for power by Putin.

THE SYRIA CONFLICT AND THE MIDDLE EAST:
The Syria Conflict is now in its 4th year and shows no sign of abating, vice versa, things are getting worse by the day.One of the original factors was a drought in Syria which was badly handled. Other factors were the Arab Spring, some animosity with Turkey and the problems in Iraq.
The rise of ISIS added a whole new dimension to this conflict.
Other factors are that Russia traditionally supports the Assad regime,Turkey is somewhat sympathetic to the IS and has a pretty porous border with Syria for IS but not for Kurds who want to fight the IS.
The Kurds are probably the best bet against the IS militarily on the ground.
However with the IS the conflict has a distinct Sunny-Shiite and non Sunny flavour. This will certainly test a lot of alliances in the arab world. If they (the IS ) like they are planning to do, will march on Israel, its WWIII.
The western engagement against the IS as well as cautious support of some Assad opponents and the Russian support of the Assad regime as well as divided loyalties in the Arab world are certainly all the ingredients you need for a real big mess, again with an undercurrent of a superpower conflict. Again the bottom line for all this destruction is greed for power .

THE CONFLICT IN THE CHINA SEA:
This is the 3rd big trouble spot in the world and still on the back-burner, but not for long.

China is militarising the China Sea, and they are not even coy about it. They are pushing up reefs to form platforms for military bases, fighter runways and naval ports. They say it will be finished in about 2 years time.
They are involved in territorial disputes with all their neighbours :Philipines, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Taiwan.
It’s all about resources, mainly oil, and strategic footholds.A few months ago they towed a second oil drilling rig into a disputed area off Vietnam. Subsequently the Vietnamese people smashed up all the chinese businesses they could find and the next day thousands of chinese left Vietnam.

In the Philipines a lone Philipines ship is anchored on a reef they are claiming, surrounded by chinese warships like sharks.
There are regular cat and mouse games between the Vietnamese and chinese navy of Vietnam.
Japan has a claim to the Shinkaku Islands which are also claimed by China who declared an air identification zone over them, so any planes trespassing will have to report to China.the reason ? there is oil in the area.

Now the US told Japan if it comes to blows with China they will support Japan militarily.Chances are the Chinese will put that to the test in 2 years time.
When their Basis are finished and their armed forces built up sufficiently they will take the naval superiority of America, at least in the Pacific.

You see, by that time approx. 2 years from now,the middle east will have developed into a really nasty place as well as the Ukraine if the Russians don’t get rid of Putin.
And the American engagement in the Ukraine and the middle east will probably not allow them to come to Japans aid militarily. It will spell the end of America as the old superpower and the rise of China in its place.

And what will happen to Australia ? It will become the spoils of war for China. Right now China is watching the middle east and the Ukraine and when the time is right make their own move in the China Sea.
Without american support Australia will wind up a chinese colony in a few years time. They already own 35% of it and buying more every day. They don’t have to fire a single shot, just use their economical musscle. If they stop buying our resources now,the lights will go out in Australia in 3 months time.
Our economical dependency on China is 90%. The reason : short-term greed and no long-term planning.

So what should we do ?
Go with the EU economically. Right now sell them resources so they lose their dependency on Russia and we ours on China.
Long term :get Europeans to take over our car industry, but don’t throw money at them , just give them favorable conditions. Get western mining companies in here and get them to build steel production facilities etc.
INDUSTRIALISE AUSTRALIA
It worked in Canada, it will work here. the alternative is to become a chinese province like Xingjang province north of Tibet that was flooded with Han-Cinese by Mao to displace and sideline the Wigas, the original inhabitants. It would mean going back to the 17th century and becoming slaves in our own country.
China’s behaviour in the China Sea is governed by greed for power and resources.

So now let’s have a look at the reasons for all these three biggest trouble spots in the world as well as climate change.

CLIMATE CHANGE
The bottom line for climate change is ignorance and above all greed. its cheaper to dump your poison in nature than deal with it properly.

THE UKRAINE
In the Ukraine it’s mainly Putin’s greed for power as well as a grab for Ukraine resources that are substantially in the east of the country.Putin is a throwback to the dark ages in Russia that looked like they were finished by Gorbachev.Obviously not quite so.

THE MIDDLE EAST
In the middle east we got a few factors combining to a pretty nasty broth. There was a drought on in Syria which was badly managed, the Arab spring is another reason.Every manmade structure, that includes empires and power structures, has its time. The Arabs had a pretty static, basically dictatorial form of government for a long time and its time is up.But the result will be a period of transition with a lot of turmoil before a new structure establishes itself.
The next factor is again a historical cycle: every church takes approx.1400 years to get to its peak. For the Christians that was the crusades and the spanish inquisition, which was a political tool to get the jews out of Spain.
Mohammed lived in the year 600 AD.Its their time now.Like in the middle ages for the christians, the church becomes the state for them.Hence the Mullahs in Iran and the IS.
Of course the religion is a cover for greed for power but a convenient and very familiar one .
You add foreign support for combatants from Russia, some Arab nations and now western engagement, as well as instability and weakness in neighbouring countries (Iraq)and you have a pretty toxic mix.

THE CHINA SEA
The trouble in the China Sea is straight forward :China is colonising the world today ,its greedy for power and resources and just opportunistically waiting for the right moment to make a major move at least in the Pacific.

There is another historic cycle that is a factor in this:
We are in a transitional time between two ages, pices and aquarius, but before the new can take hold the old has to go.And that means letting go of old structures and above all old ways of thinking. Trouble is, the old power structures don’t go voluntarily.Hence the Arab Spring, Syria and the problem with Putin and the Chinese.
Since 2004 the tectonic plates are moving under our feet. The Indonesian tsunami, the japanese tsunami as well as countless strong earthquakes are the result. This happens every few thousand years, 9000 BC was one of those times.
Events in nature are reflected in events amongst people. So now our foundations that is our manmade power structures and ways of thinking are being torn apart.

So whats the solution ?
Remember the GFC in 2008 ? unbridled greed was the main reason for this. It caused untold misery and hardship. We cannot afford to think like this in the long run anymore. Our economies are built on the expansion and profit principle. That will be overruled and replaced by sustainability and self sufficiency. Greed will be replaced by mindful thinking,i.e consideration of others and the environment.A company has to be in the black, but after that job creation and job security are the main goals, not profits. The beginning of those changes have already been made, mainly in the West, and they look promising. The old ways are just not sustainable anymore, far to destructive and expensive in the long run.

There is another aspect to our wold economy : dwindeling resources.yes, some resources seem to run out and it seems to become difficult to keep the status quo
in some places.Quantum physics will enable us to make up for some of this by solving energy and material problems as well as providing energy solutions in the near future. And within 10 years we will discover new rersources in places we don’t even know exist right now. All the mayor fault zones on earth are prolific providers of minerals, metals, and other resources. An educated guess is east Africa with its mayor fault zone will get some serious attention. However the biggest problem is still the existing powerstructures and the unwillingness to change.Nature is dynamic, the dinosaurs died out because they couldn’t adapt to changed circumstances. It is evolve or become extinct, that simple.

So whats required is a fundamental shift and change in thinking that changes the way we run our economy and interact with other people and the environment.
This is part of the next large evolutionary step for mankind, the realisation we learned from quantum physics and ancient eastern philosophies, that everything is interconnected and interactive:people, the environment, life support system, the whole planet and beyond. This will certainly change the way we will act in the future.
The beginning of this has already been made in some parts of the world, sustainability is gaining in importance and mindful thinking is a growing trend because it actually increases productivity by improving the workplace climate as well as sustainability.

So what will happen to those trouble spots ? As we have seen the main reason for them is greed for power, the old way of thinking.

CLIMATE CHANGE:
The problem of manmade pollution and fossil fuels will be addressed, in some places more than others. But climate change is here to stay.We will have to learn to live with it.

THE UKRAINE CONFLICT:
Unless Putin is removed from power it will get realy nasty, because he will not change his thinking voluntarily. The West Europeans have learned their lessons from the last 100 years but not Putin. So only after his demise will there be a chance for Russia to move forward.

SYRIA AND THE MIDDLE EAST:
Its a big mess and getting bigger. There is no big chance for a change of thinking and change of guard. The positions are to entrenched and extreme. Chances are most of the middle east winds up in ruins, maybe WWIII
The mentality is a long way behind the West, greed for power is firmly entrenched and no change in the foreseeable future. They have a long and difficult way to go yet.

THE CHINA SEA;
China is industrialising and the next superpower on earth. However, mentally they are Genghis Khans’ troops, their thinking hasn’t changed in 800 years. They are in the middle ages at best,a dictatorial governmental structure combined with hi-tech surveillance.A nasty mix. However the seeds of discontent have been sown in Hongkong and will hopefully spread to the mainland.China is an internal powder keg because of social tensions brought on by economical disparities and injustices like land resumption .This makes them even more dangerous to the outside world.
Don’t expect a change in thinking anytime soon.vice versa, expect ruthless external behaviour as soon as they see their chance.

The way to deal with bullies like Putin and China is : isolate and exclude the ones who cannot be changed ,economically, politically, socially and any other way.The least interaction possible.Treat them for what they are : the lepers and curse of a civilized world.

CONCLUSION:
The earth is a magnificent, almost unique planet somewhere out in the suburbs of a pretty average galaxy. However, part of one species doesn’t quite get the message. They are embracing a very destructive way of thinking, greed for power (and money). We are not born with this.A very young child cannot differentiate between itself and its environment. If you cannot differentiate, you cannot be greedy.
So its learned behaviour and consequently can be changed or unlearned.
It is basically an acquired mental disease (amd) and effects a lot of people.Classifying it as a mental disease would be the first step.Education is the best way of tackling it. It is the root cause of most manmade destruction at all times. It is a bigger problem than any biological disease.

Part of our species, mainly in the West, have understood some of this and are acting accordingly. The Middle East,Far East and a lot of the rest have some way to go yet.

You see, it is all part of growing up as a species and some are ahead of the pack. However, regardless of who you are and where you live, you can make your own contribution by keeping greed out of your life as far as you can.And make no mistake, because of the interconnectedness of everything, everybody counts.Gaia is alive and well!
Now its up to us. Every one of us can choose, if we want to be part of the problem or part of the solution. The less greed you have in your life, the more you are part of the solution. It’s that easy !
I hope this gets a few people thinking,

i wish you a nice day

During a recent Q&A show on Australian television Clive Palmer,a member of the defacto governing coalition in Australia made some interesting comments about the Chinese Government :” they are bastards, they shoot their own people, don`t have a legal system and want to take over Australia.”
somebody from the corridors of power finally spelt out, what everybody knows anyway but is scared to say openly.hopefully this will trigger a nationwide discussion about our total economical dependency on a bully like China, and the obvious alternative, namely engaging with European and western countries for the sale of our resources.Let`s hope this helps this badly needed discussion along.

good on you Clive !!!

THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS : THE GAZA CONFLICT

The middle east crisis :The Gaza conflict

This latest Israel-Gaza conflict was triggered by the murder of 3 Israeli teenagers on the West-Bank, and from there on it spiralled into a fully blown conflict. There are multiple reasons for the underlying tensions in this region, but in the end the solution hast o be negotiated.
Until 1991 the Palestinians under Arafat got most of what they wanted from Israel by negotiation , except Jerusalem. Then they made a cardinal mistake to side with a looser, Saddam Hussein. From there on it was downhill.
Today Hamas runs the Gaza strip and they don`t even acknowledge Israels right to exist. What do you expect with that attitude ? Do you seriously think, if the Israelis were to leave tomorrow, there would be peace in that region ? Do pigs fly ? for example : Hamas came to Government in Gaza by force and they don`realy get on with Fatah who is running the West-Bank. and if Hamas would be in Israel and the Israeli in Gaza, they would have driven them into the Mediterranean long ago without mercy.
They would not warn Israel of pending attacks so they can get civilians out of the way.
Right now, Hamas likes civilian casualties because the public images of hurt civilians trigger a lot of negative emotions in people and fan anti-Semitism worldwide. If you don`t want these casualties just stop firing those missiles. But emotional pictures and propaganda are a pretty effective weapon of Hamas. How low can you get ? Using human shields to protect your missiles and positions and then using the unavoidable civilian casualties as a propaganda tool has to be the pits of human behaviour !!

But don`t get me wrong, the Israelis have not exactly been sunday schoolboys either, there are land issues to be solved and the 2 basic laws that guarantee a never-ending conflict :
blood revenge and collective punishment.
They are practised by everybody down there and until that changes, no lasting peace will ever eventuate.

So which way to go, to go somewhere ? international pressure on Hamas to stop their rocket attacks will be a good starting point.Since Gaza only survives with the help of external support, this would not be too hard to achieve as long as the political will is there. At the same time the Israelis will have to be brought tot he negotiating table which would probably not be to hard since they want peace more than Hamas.
An acknowledgement of Israels right to exist by Hamas would be a good starting point for any further negotiations.

War starts in the mind of man , so does peace. The ever-increasing suffering of the civilians of that region should be reason enough for the international community to force this issue with economical means.
Emotionally charged antisemitism is definitely not the answer, it will make things worse and solve nothing.

There is another worrying aspect of this conflict : Hamas is somewhat affiliated with Hezbollah,a defacto part of the Lebanese government and is supplied by Iran via Syria and the Assad regime which is backed by Russia.
Like in the Ukraine, the undercurrent here is one of a superpower confrontation.

i hope this gets a few people thinking,
have a nice day,

MH 17 and its significance for Australia

MH 17 and its significance for Australia

As the story of MH17 unfolds, a few things take centre stage : it was shot down by a sophisticated surface to air missile, most likely supplied by Russia, over a defacto Russian-controlled area of Ukraine. Without Russian interference in Ukraine, this would not have happened.
secondly, an obvious refusal to unrestricted access for an international team of crash investigators and salvage teams, as well as sloppy procedures like not securing the crash zone as well as possible looting and the poor handling of the deceased.
A total lack of cooperation from the Russian-controlled side underlines their culpability in this scenario. If they got nothing to hide, why all this obstruction?? it rakes of old style Soviet behavior and is squarely Putin’s responsibility. He is obviously flexing his muscles.

So, why is he West pussyfooting around the whole Ukraine issue, including the MH17 scenario ? Why aren`t they putting Putin out in the cold, where he belongs ? first of all, there is a substantial resource dependency of many east and west European countries on Russia as well as trade deals. You see, Putin couldn`t care less , if Russia goes back to the dark ages, they `ll get used to it. He is a KGB man and only interested in his own power, and by stuffing around Europe he thinks he is proving his power.
secondly Europe will need some backing of the USA for effective sanctions as well as resource security. However, somewhat strained relations with the US, caused by their recent spying on their allies does not help this process. Further more there are other trouble spots in the world that need some US-Russian cooperation : ISIS in Iraq, the Syria conflict, the Gaza conflict, the braking up of Lybia. So Putin knows, he does not have to cooperate in Ukraine because the West needs him in dealing with other trouble spots. So, all up a pretty messy situation and this is the reason for the slow progress.

So what can Australia do to make a difference ? Australia could quite easily guaranty all the European countries who are dependent on Russia for their resources, resource security by supplying them with Australian gas, oil and whatever they need.It would reduce one of Putin’s pressure points significantly. It would give them some independence from one of the bullies on earth as well as reducing our own dependency on another bully, China. A win-win situation , which would be appreciated by the Europeans as well as many Australians.

The underlying current here is that of a superpower confrontation and you don`t solve that by appeasing a bully like Russia.

So come on Tony, rise and shine !!!
